Revolutionizing Medical
Laboratory Services
Our lab is dedicated to supporting and sourcing within the local community. Everyone working with or for us resides in Savannah, Georgia. This ensures personal, compassionate care for our neighbors and bolsters the local economy.

Having worked in facilities throughout the Southeast, we noticed that most pathology services were outsourced to labs in other states, handled by pathologists with no ties to our community. This often results in a lack of empathy and quality focus that our neighbors, friends, family, and loved ones deserve. It also diverts local dollars elsewhere.

By providing a homegrown service, our patients and partners are supported by people they know, trust, and share values with. We are proud to be part of the Savannah community and are committed to offering the highest quality pathology services to our hometown.

Charles Todd Bruker, MD
Born in Brunswick Georgia, Lori Bruker graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Education. Service to her nation called, and she spent four years on active duty in the U.S. Army serving in Iraq as a linguist with signals intelligence command learning to adapt to complex and stressful environments. She went on to finish a second Bachelor of Science in Medical Research and Technology from the University of Maryland. She served her country again for six more years caring for our veterans as a clinical laboratory scientist at the Veterans Administration (V.A.) in Augusta, Georgia. That led her toward a supervisory role as the Blood Bank Manager at Savannah's Memorial Medical Center where she was instrumental in bringing on board whole blood transfusion for trauma patients and modernizing blood bank practices and policies. She is now the Practice Manager of Freedom Pathology, an independent anatomic and clinical pathology laboratory in Savannah Georgia, where she is committed to supporting the local community and providing our neighbors with the very highest in quality of pathology services.
